Sometimes we can learn as much from looking at what NOT to do as we can from what to do. This is one of those cases where we can learn from bad practices.
Ya'all (Texas term) know about my passion for WOW Experiences in business. A question I often ask is this: "When was the last time a business surprised you?" Almost all the time, people draw a blank and really can't remember any business experiences that stand out. That is because most business, and people for that matter, are all doing about the same thing. There are very few trail blazers and pioneers setting new exciting paths.
Well yesterday I had a surprise. I saw this sign in a business; no joke! I had to take a picture and share it with you. What in the world? What kind of customer service is this? I don't get it. And then when this business goes under the owner will scratch his head and wonder what went wrong. Amazing! I was surprised alright. Shocked actually; I can't believe this is how some people treat customers and do business.
Learn from this. Learn how NOT to do things too.
